A classic apartment in the heart of the city boasting incredibly high ceilings and a large living area. The apartment was pre-furnished but needed some re-decorating and modernising.
I chose a focal wall to highlight the view and painted it in a bold colour to add some warmth. Some of the existing furniture like the sofas were incorporated into the design while new soft furnishings were added.
The overall concept was to add some cosiness while complimenting the traditional elements, such as the archways and windows. New rugs, curtains, cushions, artwork and lamps and repainting the walls revamped a sleepy apartment and turned it into a cosy sanctuary.
After
I turned the apartment into a peaceful sanctuary with soft materials and natural colours. The new design compliments the high ceilings and romantic feel of the home transforming it.

The apartment was homey but lacked style, the colours were disorientating and didn’t flow well together making it feel less cosy.
